The Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi is a huge former royal residence of the Savoy family, erected as a hunting lodge in the 18th century on the site of a previous palace. The complex is a masterpiece of the Italian Baroque and Rococo art, and one of the greatest works of architect Filippo Juvarra. The large building features numerous richly adorned halls with countless decorations, and it is surrounded by a huge natural park.

Rivoli
Rivoli is a suburb of Turin, located west of the capital of Piedmont. The town has a long history and it still features various historic buildings. After experiencing a huge expansion after World War II, Rivoli is now an industrial center.

The Rivoli Castle is a fortification originally built during the Middle Ages on a hill dominating over Rivoli. ✪ Palace of Venaria
The Palace of Venaria (Reggia di Venaria Reale) is a former royal residence of the Savoy family, erected during the 17th century to serve as a hunting base for expeditions to the hills north of Turin. The large palace is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, featuring numerous richly adorned halls filled with many artworks. The complex includes the Baroque Church of Sant’Uberto, erected in the 18th century at the entrance to the palace, and some large gardens located behind the main building. The original gardens were destroyed during the Napoleonic Wars, and the current ones are a modern recreation. Nevertheless, the park is known for its beauty and it hosts various attractions.

✪ La Mandria Regional Park
La Mandria Regional Park is one of the largest enclosed natural parks in Europe, located between the municipalities of Venaria Reale and Druento. The park hosts various attractions, such as the Baroque Borgo Castello, or La Mandria Castle (Castello della Mandria), a former royal residence of the Savoy family. Another popular attraction here is the Castle of the Lakes (Castello dei Laghi), a 19th-century royal palace located on the shores of an artificial lake. The eclectic villa known as La Bizzarrìa is another notable 19th-century building located inside the park. The La Mandria Regional Park is also known for its rich flora and fauna.

Chieri

Via Vittorio Emanuele II
Via Vittorio Emanuele II is the main street of Chieri, which crosses the entire city center and hosts numerous historic buildings. The most notable of these is the splendid Triumphal Arch facing the central Piazza Umberto I, originally erected in 1580 and later reworked. Not far from there, on the same street, is the 17th-century Baroque Church of San Filippo, which features various decorations.
