Valle Po
Valle Po is a valley among the Alps west of Saluzzo, crossed by the initial section of the Po, the longest river in Italy.
Pian del Re
Pian del Re is a location at the end of Valle Po, in the municipality of Crissolo close to the border between Italy and France. The site is famous for hosting the source of the Po river, located on the slopes of Monviso, the highest mountain of the Cottian Alps. The area is a starting point for excursions toward the nearby mountains.

Valle Grana
Valle Grana is a valley located among the Alps west of Cuneo, crossed by the Grana stream. A few small towns with some historic attractions are located in the valley, which is also famous for the production of cheese.
Silk Mill of Caraglio
The Silk Mill of Caraglio (Filatoio di Caraglio) is one of the best preserved historic industrial sites in Europe, and it is located in Caraglio, a town in the plain at the start of Valle Grana. This building was one of the first silk mills in Europe, erected between 1676 and 1678, and it operated until 1936. After being restored, the building now hosts a museum that explains how the mill used to operate and showcases the historic machinery involved in the process.

Sanctuary of San Magno
The Sanctuary of San Magno (Santuario di San Magno) is a religious site located among the mountains near Castelmagno, in Valle Grana. The sanctuary was erected starting in the 15th century, and it was expanded various times until the 19th century. The church houses some chapels adorned with beautiful historic frescoes and a stone with Roman inscriptions.

Vinadio
Vinadio is a town located in a valley among the Alps in the Province of Cuneo. It is known as a tourist destination thanks to its position and its thermal baths.
Forte Albertino of Vinadio
The Forte Albertino is a 19th-century fortress erected in Vinadio to control the road leading to the Maddalena Pass which crosses into France. The fort includes various walls and fortifications and it was used as prison and military barracks. Now restored, it can be visited.

Sanctuary of Sant’Anna
The Sanctuary of Sant’Anna (Santuario di Sant’Anna) is a religious site located among the mountains near Vinadio, close to the border with France. Valle Vermenagna is a valley located south of Cuneo, which marks the border between the Maritime Alps and the Ligurian Alps. The valley leads to the Colle di Tenda/Col de Tende mountain pass that links Italy with France.
Limone Piemonte
Limone Piemonte is a town in Valle Vermenagna and a popular ski resort. It rose to prominence since the late 19th century thanks to its position along the railway connecting Cuneo with Ventimiglia, becoming one of the busiest winter destinations in the region. Limone Piemonte also features some medieval buildings such as the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli.
