Campo di Marte and Rifredi are two areas of Florence located north of the historic center of the city. The area of Campo di Marte is on the northeastern side, it was mostly built during the 19th century, and now hosts various sports venues. Rifredi is instead located to the northwest of the city center, and stretches to the foot of the hills, including residential and industrial areas.

✪ Museo del Calcio
The Museo del Calcio is a museum dedicated to the Italian national football team, located in the headquarters and training grounds of the Italian Football Federation in the neighborhood of Coverciano. The museum showcases the prestigious history of the Italian national football team, and it displays numerous pieces of memorabilia and trophies, including the four FIFA World Cup trohpies won by the team.

Triumphal Arch of the Lorraine
The Triumphal Arch of the Lorraine (Arco di Trionfo dei Lorena) is a triumphal arch in Florence erected during the 18th century to celebrate the arrival of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty in the city, that ruled the Grand Duchy of Tuscany after the extinction of the Medici dynasty. Curiously, the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty left Florence through the same arch when they left for exile in 1859. The arch is adorned with numerous statues and reliefs. The monument stands inside Piazza della Libertà, a square which also hosts Porta San Gallo, one of the ancient city gates of Florence.

Russian Orthodox Church of Nativity
The Russian Orthodox Church of Nativity (Chiesa Russa Ortodossa della Natività) is a Russian Orthodox church in Florence, erected in the late 19th and early 20th century for the Russian community of the city. The building is adorned with elaborate decorations, and its interiors house a large series of frescoes and various artworks.

Stibbert Museum
The Stibbert Museum (Museo Stibbert) is an art and arms museum in Florence, which houses a vast collection of historic weapons and armours with pieces from all over the world. One of most interesting halls in the museum features various life-sized figures of knights on horseback. The museum is hosted in a villa surrounded by a large garden and also houses some artworks.

Church of San Michele in San Salvi
The Church of San Michele in San Salvi is a church in Florence built in the 11th century and later expanded. A 16th-century addition to the complex is the refectory, which houses a fresco by Andrea del Sarto. This area now serves as a museum, called Museo del Cenacolo di Andrea del Sarto, and it hosts various other frescoes and artworks from the same period.

Villa di Castello
Villa di Castello is a large Renaissance villa located among the hills north of Florence. Built over a previous structure during the 16th century, it was one of the residences of the Medici family. The villa features decorated halls and houses some artworks, but it is best known for its large gardens. These are among the best examples of Italian Renaissance garden, and influenced the construction of many other gardens throughout all of Europe. Some of the features of the gardens include elaborate fountains and a grotto with statues of animals.

Villa La Petraia
Villa La Petraia is a former residence of the Medici family located among the hills at the northern outskirts of Florence. The original palace was built in the 14th century, and was later expanded numerous times, most notably in the 16th century, after it was bought by the Medici family. The villa was later inhabited by the Habsburg-Lorraine and the Savoy, before being turned into a museum. The palace features numerous decorated halls housing several artworks. The gardens that surround the villa offer a panoramic view over Florence.

Villa Corsini a Castello
Villa Corsini a Castello is a historic villa located at the northern outskirts of Florence. Originally erected in the 15th century, the villa was later bought by the Corsini family and completely reworked in Baroque style starting in 1697. The villa features various rich decorations and a large garden, and also hosts an archaeological collection including several ancient Roman and Greek statues.
